Improvised readings ‘Sandro Penna’

The Jesolo Public Library hosts the second edition of Letture Improvvise, an event that mixes literature, music and improvisation. Three Sunday appointments, on 2, 9 and 16 February at 5 p.m., at the Jesolo Civic Library, will present new stories and improvised music, designed to bring people and ideas together, transforming cultural venues into spaces for meeting and community building. The stories and music develop suddenly, leaving plenty of room for creativity.
On Sunday 16 February at 5 p.m., ‘Sandro Penna - Secondo me’ will offer an exploration of music, follies, stories and truths about one of the greatest poets of the 20th century. A fascinating and human vision of the great Umbrian poet, in which stories, music and poetry come together in a show that includes, among others, Elsa Morante, Pier Paolo Pasolini, Umberto Saba and Eugenio Montale. By and with Max De Aloe, narrator, chromatic harmonica and accordion.
From 4.45 p.m. until the end of the event, there will be a music workshop for children aged 6 to 8.
The initiative is aimed at citizens and tourists.
